Five Zero Waste Valentines Date Ideas
Break-up with plastic this Valentine's Day; give up the use of single-use plastic products such as disposable cutlery, water bottles, food containers, balloons, and shopping bags.
Let's face it; most Valentine's Day gifts are made from plastic or, naturally, have some form of plastic wrapping - the product is designed to go straight into the trash, but will last for 500 years! How can we justify this? I think its safe to say; we need to be more mindful when planning our Valentine's surprises with a bit more mindfulness for mamma earth.
This year we're trading in gifts for experiences; here are a few of our team's zero waste recommendations:
SMOKE, AND GET SEXY!
- For sexy solo time: GSC ( Girl Scout Cookies)
- For slow, passionate lovemaking: Bubblegum Kush
- For frenzied, lustful sex: Sour Diesel
- For morning sex: Harlequin
- For creative, kinky sex: Jillybean
WATCH THE SUNSET IN A BEAUTIFUL PLACE
No matter if you're in California or Ohio - there's always somewhere beautiful to watch the sun go down. Is there anything more satisfying than having a well deserved indulgent drink (my poison of choice is still an excellent natural wine), and watching the sun fade into the horizon?
CATCH A YOGA CLASS AND SNUGGLE UP WITH A CLASSIC ROMCOM AFTER
- Sleepless In Seattle
- Can't Buy Me Love
- Notting Hill
- Romeo And Juliette
GIVE EACH OTHER MASSAGES
Twenty minutes is a perfect time. It's a science that I have repetitively proven. It's not too long, nor too short. Set the mood here; crank up the heat, burn some candles, and put on some corny nature sounds; my preference is the "fireplace" clip on Netflix. Ha! Whip out some coconut oil and get to it. Youll both feel relaxed, moisturized, and a lot happier at the end of it.
Spend the night escaping reality with a themed show at a local comedy club. Most cities will have a variety of funny V-day options.
