Homemade All-Purpose Cleaner; In Five Easy Steps
I'm just going to go ahead and say it - I haven't been to the store in over two months, I Instacart everything. The problem with this is that you're playing the lotto with essential home products you need. Even if you're ok going to the store - I'm sure you run into this problem too.
One of the products that I find to be sold out 99% of the time ( besides toilet paper) is an all-purpose cleaner. So here's how to make your own in a few easy steps, while avoiding Instacart/ in-store frustrations.
- Glass Spray Bottle
- 1.5 cups of distilled white vinegar
- 10 drops of essential oil of your choice. ( I lean towards citrus scents)
- 2 cups of water
- 1 teaspoon of unscented castile soap ( Y'all know I'm a fan of Dr. Bronners)
For an extra shot in the arm, when removing mildew, spray first, then sprinkle on baking soda and scrub with a sponge.
There you have it a sustainable and healthier alternative to cleaning your home.
See ya toxic all-purpose cleaners!
