FAQ

Question:

What is dead stock fabric?

Answer:

Dead stock fabrics are the left over fabrics of other fashion houses who overestimated their needs. These textiles are materials that are no longer useful for factories and companies and as a result send them to the landfills. That’s where we come in to the rescue! We snatch up these threads and incorporate them into our production runs. Often we only make 1-5 items in a specific fabric.

Question:

Are all your fabrics sustainable?

Answer:

When we buy new fabrics from our small mills, we only purchase sustainable fabrics. When we source fabrics from our dead stock suppliers, the fabrics might not be made from natural fibers, but we have given them a second life. As such saving them from landfills.

Question:

Who makes your clothing?

Answer:

We have our own in-house sewing lab. We also contract out work to local babes who have their own studios giving them the freedom and creative space they need, as well as keeping an open page on wages so that they decide on the compensation that they deserve.
